The first stop for Brandt's Tacoma was at New Design outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Once in their hands, DJ went to work performing a 3-¼ inch body drop on the new bed to match the cab, which was originally body dropped by the Chop Shop and Rob Rodell of Underground Customs.

Since he already had it in his hands, DJ reworked the suspension to allow the rear end to tuck 20's. To help any contact issues with the rear fenders, a 1994 Toyota rear axle replaced the stock axle, setting the wheels in 3 ¼ more inches, and allowing plenty of travel for the monster-sized wheels Brandt planned to install.

Brandt then took the truck home to Ruston, Louisiana where he went ahead and bolted on the wheels and tires. Brandt chose Zenetti Milanos as his wheel of choice. In the front, Brandt used 18x8.5 wrapped in 215-35-18 Pirelli P-Zero rubber. In the rear, huge 20x8.5 wheels tuck nicely, with ultra-low 245-35-20 Pirelli rubber wrapped around them.

Brandt wasted no time with the next phase of the rebuild, so he drove the truck four hours to Wylie, Texas and Barn Yard Customs. Mike White and his crew performed some serious body modifications to Brandt's truck including shaving the tailgate, the gas door, tailgate handle and then molding in a steel roll pan from FBI.
