Next, Eli decided he wanted his doors to open backwards, so he gave them the rod-inspired suicide door treatment. Eli also went with a rod-inspired look and shaved his Mazda clean of door handles and rear bumper.

Eli shaved the wiper cowl and smoothed the bed seams as well as the bed corners. The gas door was also shaved and the filler moved to the rear fender. Then, Eli shaved the tailgate and the taillights, and replaced them with Hagan flush mount LED's.    Eli also tubbed his bed and used spray in bed liner for a clean look. Then Eli installed a monster sunroof, to allow plenty of light on those warm summer days.
