Finishing off the front clip would be the mounting of the Navigator headlights, which would still need to be cut to fit. Moving back, the door handles would be shaved along with the gas filler door, which would be relocated into the bed. The taillights would be shaved and in their place a set of Hi-Tech clear, red and amber LED’s molded into the newfound Alter Image roll pan.

Not yet finished, Mike would have the doors swung suicide style with the pillars being reinforced to ensure the doors wouldn’t drop. The hood squirters, 3rd brake light would all be shaved and the tailgate would be welded shut and smoothed for the over all clean appearance. Into the tailgate the license plate box would be frenched in but at an angle outward. Under the tonneau cover a bedpan would be installed in order to cover the hole in the bed for the new bridge. The bed would then be lined with a bed rug liner for a much cleaner appearance.
