The choice of paint for Nathan was easy. He decided to go with '96 Volkswagen Jetta green and white base from PPG. Nathan also decided to have green pearl and smoke flames in the white, which just happen to be made from real smoke residue. Blue pearl flames in the green base were also added. Then House Of Kolor passion pearl, tangelo and pearl magenta graphics were laid down. To give this show ride the finishing touches, four gallons of PPG 2020 clear was sprayed, while wet sanding between each coat. Boomer Glasner of Fineline Customs of Escondido, CA is responsible for all of the paint and bodywork.
With the body completely finished, it wouldn’t be right to leave the suspension alone. So in order to keep the Toy a bit on the crazy side, Nathan turned to Brian Jendro of the Chop Shop of Temecula, CA. While with Brian, the Toy was body dropped 2 ½ inches. With the body laying flat, it was time to take care of the suspension. They decided to go use a set of Firestone airbags with 2 compressors, air solenoids, and 3/8-inch line to help the Toy get up and down with ease. Nathan added 2-inch drop spindles and a set of custom front strut rods and shock mounts along with his airbag suspension. For the rear bag setup, the leaf springs were ditched and a chrome triangulated 4-link was added in its place.

After the suspension modifications, they needed to section the oil pan for clearance and weld in a skid plate to protect it. The reason for this? To lower the engine 2 inches so that they wouldn’t have to ditch the stock hood. To allow the body to lay flat with no restrictions, the inner fender wells were removed and everything attached to them relocated.

In order to roll the Toy down the road or into the show, Nathan’s wheel of choice was a set of chrome 17x9 Ergon's wrapped in 215-40-17 Yokohama’s. Nathan decided to cross drill the disc covers to get those extra show points.
