To push the car and get those 18’s rolling, Jeff went with a new engine. He installed a '98 VTEC Prelude short block, with an Accord head. To help out with power, the additions of an AEM pulley, Tenzo filter on a HotShot intake was installed. A Matrix header with 2 ¼ inch exhaust with a thermal universal muffler let Jeff's wagon breathe. Several other additions to Jeff's wagon are the RS Akimoto ECU upgrade along with a Nitrous Xpress EFI 50 shot setup and Vitek plug wires.  With the engine cranking out plenty of horses it was time for Jeff to get that show shine he desired. To do this, he turned to Totally Polished of Newbury Park, CA. With their help, Jeff chromed numerous items including the valve cover, trailing arms, dust covers, ABS lines, and over 250 bolts over the entire undercarriage, amongst other random parts here and there. To accent the chrome, the crew from SB Motoring also painted several items orange.
