The door handles, antenna, tailgate handle, third brake light and even the bodylines were shaved. A fiberglass cowl hood was also chosen for better clearance of the motor.   Once the truck was smooth enough for paint, the base color of yellow was sprayed. On top of that and over the front part of the truck, purple flames were taped off and sprayed then they were pinstriped in orange to add a little contrast.
