Howard wanted his Focus to have a smooth, overall appearance. With that in mind, Howard's Focus was smoothed from front to rear, including the emblems, moldings, rear hatch and door handles.   The gas filler door was shaved and new filler neck custom fit into that back hatch. Howard also frenched the license plate through the wing and bodyline for a one-off appearance.

 After installing Wings West Avenger front and rear bumpers and side skirts, Howard wanted something else to set his new project apart from the rest. With that in mind, he decided to suicide the driver's side door.
