The owner and Express Auto Body again were responsible for the flames. Finally, to wrap out the exterior of Stephen's Taco, clear taillights were installed as well as a lexan rear window, complete with frenched license plate box. Stephen's Taco had started to take shape, but the owner knew he wanted it to lay terra firma. To accomplish this, he called the crew at Draggin Azz Customs in St. Petersburg, Florida to perform the necessary work to lay his Taco out. First, Draggin Azz performed a super step notch that would allow the rear of Stephen's Taco to fully lay out.

Then they bent custom tubing and created one-off mounts for the Firestone 2600lb airbags in the rear of Stephen's Taco. Next, the Draggin Azz crew ditched the rear leaf springs and replaced them with a chrome triangulated 4-link from TCI. In the front, a custom cross member was built and Firestone 2500lb airbags were installed. To smooth the Taco's adjustable ride out, Doestch Tech shocks were installed in the front and rear. Finally, to allow Stephen's Taco to go from railing status to driving-height status, electric fast valves were installed.
