Starting with the exterior of the vehicle, Sam shaved all the side emblems and front emblem. Then came the task of cleaning up the body after 40 years of abuse, but once it was full smoothed out it was ready for paint.

   For paint, the car was kept with the Cadillac theme, and laid down some layers of Cadillac Diamond White but then added a new touch with House of Kolor Ice Gold Pearl over the top to make this beauty sparkle like the true diamond in the rough.
