To set this truck apart from the other lifted trucks in the show scene, Johnny installed rear steering to his Ford. This is done with a toggle switch mounted in the cab next to the switch for the tilt bed. There's nothing like watching Johnny drive his truck sideways to the photo shoot.

  To power all the customized parts on Johnny's truck is a 351 Windsor that has been bumped up to a 358. Several go fast goodies have been added to beef up the motor. These include a 750 Double Pumper Holley carburetor, ported and polished heads, MSD ignition and a 9.5 to 1 compression ratio.
