With the exterior confines completed, it was time for Shawn to move on. Achieving the next goal would be simple for Shawn. Turning to the professionals of Locomotiv Houston, Texas, the suspension needs would be met to perfection. First on the list would be to section and box the rear frame rails giving added clearance of the rear axle along with installation of a custom 2-link provided by Locomotive. Next the stock shocks would be replaced by a set of Toxic shock applications. To help bring the rear up when needed, a set of Firestone 2600 bags would be welded in. Bringing the front down even with the rear would be utilized by a set of DJM upper and lower control arms. After replacing the stock front shock applications with ones of Toxic, a set of 2800 Firestone bags would be mounted to help lift the front when needed. Not completely satisfied with the overall stance of his new project at hand, Shawn decided to have the crew from Locomotiv bring the body down 3 inches level with the undercarriage when aired out. A Nitrogen bottle along with a couple of compressors supplies the air when needed. After tearing up the stock gas tank from dragging often, Shawn had to replace the 26-gallon plastic tank.
