Starting with the suspension, Dave knew he had to live up to his club’s motto, “The Fear Of Heights.” For help giving up the spectacular sparks we are used to seeing from Dave’s Ford, Wicked Kustom Auto in Hollywood, Florida was contacted to get the Ford at a desirable ride height. The crew at Wicked Kustom Auto step notched the rear frame rails and installed a triangulated 4-link. The factory gas tank was modified to fit in place with the new rear frame setup. Firestone airbags were then installed along with Monroe shocks to smooth out the bumps. In the front, Full Effect dropped tubular A-arms were installed along with Firestone airbags and Monroe shocks. From inside the cab, Dave’s suspension choice is capable via electric fast valves at all four corners.

Now laying frame, Dave still wasn’t content with the way his Ford laid out. After rolling around laying frame for about a year, Dave knew it was going to take more to get where he wanted to be. With that in mind, Dave went back to the capable hands of Wicked Kustom Auto in Hollywood, Florida. This time, the crew went to work cutting and reworking the body of Dave’s Ford so it would sit 3 ¾ lower than stock. Now laying body, like Dave wanted, it was time to move on to the exterior.
