Ok, so we’re in Pigeon Forge, hanging out with everyone on the strip when we hear a sound that has grown dear to our ears over the past several years. The sound of fast bags! ““Pssssssssssssst” and then about that time, a blue Ford rolls by with a fifteen foot trail of sparks behind it! Man, what a sight. And if that wasn’t enough, as the spark throwing blue beauty passes by, “Acrophobia: The Fear Of Heights” is plainly visible on the back window. The fear of heights? That’s an understatement, we’d say! Later, we’d find out who owned this spark throwing beauty and bring his ride, and his story, to our readers.

Back in October of 1998, Dave Shulman of Heathrow, Florida picked up a brand new Ford F150 extra-cab fleet side pickup. The 24 year old web designer wanted to build a clean ride that would turn heads, as well as throw massive amounts of sparks. After shelling out the initial $22,000, Dave didn’t have to wait long before the bug that consumes each and every one of us would take over, and he would get down to the business at hand.
