Due to the fact that the original stock engine horsepower is sitting at approximately 320 hp, it leaves little engine modification left to do. However, the engine has been upgraded with a TurboXS Dual Stage Boost Controller adding approximately 25hp+. The engine has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed and the intake manifold has been painted red, and will be custom detailed during the winter. The colors enhance the look of the engine, making heads turn at car shows. Red wire loom highlights the engine bay and red racing vacuum hose has replaced the lackluster black factory look. The stock exhaust system was replaced with Magna Flow pipes and tips. They add to the overall performance and sound of the vehicle.
All modifications were completed and paid for by myself, just for everyday use; however, that was until the modifications turned out so splendid. There is little modification due to the fact that the vehicle was recently purchased and because parts are extremely hard to find. The factory fog lights have been replaced with 3” Demon Eye High Beam fog lights (similar to Angel Eyes; however, they are red in color). We have mounted red underbody lights, to include all four sides, which are hidden with a clean install. A new custom fabricated body kit will be installed before the spring car show season, as the car is currently garaged for the winter. The custom fabrication will ensure that no other vehicle, including the other 3000GTs, will be identical to ours
Everything was pulled from the car, to include the dash. All of the accent interior pieces were air brushed signal red to bring out the fullness of the red exterior. A custom shift boot and emergency brake boot were created, and installed. A MOMO shift knob replaces the OEM knob. Window tint was installed to preserve the condition of the interior. A switch was then mounted in a discreet location (driver’s side kick panel towards the top) for the underbody neon kit and under the driver and passenger dash; I installed one 8” neon tube for added light decor. The faces of the odometer, tachometer, turbo boost, oil pressure, fuel amount, and water temperature were custom fabricated. The monotonous, dull black was replaced with a luminous, brilliant white face. During the day these gauges look white and at night they glow red. Currently installed, we have a Sony Xplode system that consists of a deck, a pair of four way 6x9” door speakers, and a 600 watt amplifier. Also mounted in the rear, there is a 10” Boston Acoustic G2 sub that is supported in a custom fiberglass box. Custom fiber glassing was done on the passenger side dash to house a 7” TFT LCD screen that includes a DVD unit discreetly hidden. For this upcoming car show season visor monitors will be installed, a new steering wheel will be put in to include a locking hub, and a game system. Drawing plans are being created, as the stereo system will have a complete make-over. The rear seats will be removed to house additional speakers, amps, and monitors. The trunk space will have a complete fiber glassing renovation to include, again, addition monitors, speakers, and amps. Everything will be accented with Neon Lighting.
