With the bodywork now up to par Brian would get the suspension reworked. For starters the rear frame rails would be C-notch and boxed with 2x3 steel by Barry Wiser of Havana, AR. A custom 2-link rear suspension set up would then be built and installed by Barry as well. BellTech 2” drop spindles would help bring the front down even with the front.

DJM dropped shocks along with 2600lb Firestone air bags would be found in the rear while 2500’s are bolted upfront for the much needed lift.
To help fill up the large wheel well Brian would decide to run 20x8.5 Bonspeed sweep wheels wrapped in 245/35 BF Goodrich tires.

Like any other show winning ride Brian would need to work over the interior. The dash would first be smoothed out and painted with billet inserts while the doors would be wrapped in blue and gray tweed along with other interior panels.
