After we painted project Z we realized it needed a few finishing touches of exterior flames to bring out the carbon fiber flames a little more. We decided to flame the wing tips (since they were carbon fiber) and get some Carbon fiber mirrors and go to town. We got a hold of HighRev Motorsports (HighRevMotorsports.com) who rushed us a set of carbon fiber mirrors for the car. Highrev has a large selection of parts for our j-body as well as other vehicles, go check them out!We took the mirrors to my trusted friend and partner in crime, Matt "Porkchop" Stearns who was glad to do some more flames for us. These flames were much smaller than the others but Porkchop pulled it off like a champ (as usual).We start off by sanding down the parts as you can see to the right. Then Porkchop taped off the flames.
