Is it just me or has this year seemed to fly by, here it is September 2003 with only three remaining months left in the 2003 year. But the time that seems have flown by even more is the time in which the World Trade Centers were toppled by terrorist and this great nation suffered the loss of thousands of loved ones and hero's. I remember were I was to the moment when I was first notified that a plane had hit the first tower. It wasn't long until another plane hit the second town and in that very moment any hope that this was an accident was diminished and the truth came full circle. I remember the hopeless feeling as I watched as the second tower to be struck tumbled to the ground. When it seemed that that feeling of hopelessness had subsided my stomach was awaken again to the same uneasy feeling as the first tower to be struck joined the second on the ground. Then the news of the Pentagon also being struck the complete and udder feeling of what and were will they hit next. Then the hero's that were on the flight over Pennsylvania that went down, as surly that plane too was on its way to another target at the control of terrorist, only to be defended by a group of everyday citizens that knew they had to do something to stop another disaster. How can we ever let the families that lost there loved ones that day know how much our thought and our prayers are with them? How can we explain to the children that lost their Dad or Mother that day that all was not a loss? I don't think words can describe how each of us felt on Sept, 11th 2001, to some it was anger to others astonishment and to most horror and fear. To our hero's of the NYPD, FDNY, NY Port Authority, EMT's and all other that went to the World Trade Centers that day to save the life's of the victims that in turn lost their life that day, it was their job and their duty and they gave there life proudly and with honor. To the workers at the trade center, that to them it was another day at the office but their courage and honor will never be forgotten.

I ask that no matter if you are of a certain religion or not a religious person at all, take the time by either prayer or a moment of silent time on Sept, 11th to remember those that gave their life that day and those that lost theirs loved ones. Let us also not forget our troops that are serving on several fronts defending our great nation for the freedoms we so gratefully enjoy and often take for granted.
