In this drawing it shows the roll cage and the names of each piece in the kit. We start off by placing and test fitting the main hoop which goes behind the front seats. The main hoops forward edge should be no more than 6 inches away from the back of the helmet while seated (you may have to throw the drivers side seat back in place to test the fit). If needed, trim the bottom of the posts to achieve the proper height and fit the curves of the floor(we found minor trimming was necessary). Try to align the main hoop with the door pillar and window seam and check the side to side alignment to be sure the main hoop has an equal distance from the pillars on both sides. Mark where the hoop bars will intersect the floor.

Remove the hoop and install the floor plates. These plates should contour to the floor as much as possible so a good hefty hammer helps in bending the plates to fit. Once they are in place, weld the outer edges of the plate to the floor of the car. It is important that you weld it to be as strong as possible since the plates give the cage it's strength.

Sorry for the blurryness of these photos, the lighting was not good for thesetting my camera was on. Better luck next time :)

Tack weld the main hoop in place (onto the floor plates) then check the alignment.
