Well here we are, ending the major part of the show season and entering the stages in our life to think of new modifications to be performed to our rides this upcoming winter. As most things in life, SSM is also going through some changes. If you are reading this, then you are familiar with what those changes are. You are reading this for of one of two reasons, one, you are a true friend to the family in our industry, or two, you are borrowing a friends username cause you are to cheap to acquire the $8 or $12 to help keep this going. In any case you recognize we have what you want and that has been a plus in our lives since we began the site. With the costs of the site finally catching up to us, we have been put into a spot where we either start charging minimally to keep things moving, or discontinue the site we've all come to love. Up until this point, we've managed to give everyone a free service for a year and a half and yet found Kris and myself putting in roughly $65,000 of our own hard earned money along with our dedicated time day in day out 7 days a week. Those that respect what we have done for the scene are the ones that are true to our sport, hobby, and lifestyle. I've sat here and listened to people complaining about having to spend $12 to view the magazine for a years time, have we as auto enthusiast become that cheap? Hell as I sit here writing this, I'm drinking a $3.75 cup of coffee, with that price I could have almost had 4 months on SSM. I guess my point is this; we here at SSM have done a lot in the industry to make the minitruckin/compact scene one that we can all enjoy while getting to know one another. If people out there can't respect that but at the same time find themselves on the site every day, then we will be no longer and an empty space in the community will be left behind. Don't let this happen, pass the word and we assure you SSM will continue to bring you great material and new feature items for all to enjoy.

Do we have Phat rides??? Nope, do you know why?? Well that would be because all of our money goes into SSM for all of you. Okay I'm done whining...... LOLThe month of August brought me out of town more often then not and nothing but pure excitement as usual. My good friends of Pleasures In Oklahoma City did there usual number of treating me to as many drinks as I can possibly handle while assuring that I'm constantly having a good time. Hell they even brought me out 2 days early for my birthday! So I want all of you to sit back and enjoy what this months issue has to offer.Till next month, I'll start jaunting down some cool stuff to write about so my editorial isn't so lameā¦.
