Starting with the body, a lot had to be straightened out to get the Blazer back to normal. Doing a body off, the frame was straightened out and smoothed and painted. An Air Ride Technologies 4-link setup was installed along with a pan hard bar. Bell Tech drop spindles were installed up front and Firestone airbags were installed at all four corners. Controls in the cab allow Ron to set it down on the ground, or lift the Blazer to ride height with the press of a button. Since the Blazer had been rolled, the next thing that needed to be straightened was the body. Again, Ron called on his friends at Hendrix Body and Frame to handle the task. After cutting and bending and pulling and getting the body back to it’s normal state, it was time to start adding some customized goodies to Ron’s Blazer.

Steel ground effects were molded in and GMC Envoy headlights and a GMC Envoy grille shell were installed. A Carriage Works grille insert was added to finish it off. A GMC Envoy bumper was also added to finish off the front end. A hood scoop from a 1960 Thunderbird was molded into the stock hood for added looks as well. In the rear, clear taillights were installed.

After getting things straight with the body and the necessary mods that Ron had in mind completed, Hendrix Body and Frame shot the Blazer PPG Yellow. Taylor’s was then called in the handle the multi-color graphics that cover Ron’s Blazer. Several colors of House Of Kolor paint were utilized to get the eye-catching graphics of Ron’s Blazer.
