Well its time once again for the Pleasures Slamboree, this is a fun show to go to ever year especially since they have some of the coolest trophies that a person would want. This year no doubt had to be the biggest I have ever seen the Slamboree with 250+ rides and 99% of them were some bad ass rides. Which the other 1% was cool to, it was just upside down most the time. Saturday after noon I pulled up to the fair grounds and was dropped off while my other half went a got the hotel room and some lunch. As I walked up through the gates I knew this would be a great show. Pleasures had numerous venders including the Hooters chicks (hell yea), and Sinister motor sports from Austin TX. But all the vendors did look good and had a lot to offer. Once I checked out the vendors and saw a lot of stuff I couldn’t afford I decided to go check out the rides as I walked around the good looking rides was plentiful, everywhere I looked I seen bad ass rides. While walking around I bumped into a couple of clubs and I had the chance to sit a talk with a few of them such as Xposed Visionz, Relaxed Atmosphere, Gravity Permits, iveverlow. While talking to all these clubs there main focus was on this thing called the party trophy. But it looked like Explicit Concepts got a head start on every body the night before by saran wrapping every thing possible including the porta-potties, but that didn’t stop people from trying there ass off. Around five in the evening everybody has returned to the hotels to get some grub and prepare for the party at the fairgrounds. I was fortunate enough to get to go out with Xposed Visionz to Outback and they truly know how to have fun. As we were leaving there was an attempted car theft but sorry to say the guy was caught by some locals and they proceed to beat the shit out of him until the cops arrived. After all that drama it was time to head to the party , so we pull up and Big Carl from Explicit Concepts already had the party started but the rival/friend club Xposed Visionz were their to retain there title from the year before. Both clubs were acting crazy having fun but Relaxed Atmosphere came to give both clubs a run for the trophy but Johnny law got on to them and there live entertain on top of a ford 4x4 and made them settle down. Speaking of live entertainment I even got some cool sex picks through the windshield of a truck but the 2 having intercourse got pissed and took my disk. As I am walking around I get mobbed by Explicit Concepts and next thing I know I am upside down saran wrapped to a tree, trying there best to win that trophy.

Explicit had it won until they let one thing go wrong and that was Big Carl passed out in his van and that gave Xposed Visionz the rights to saran wrap the “king of saran wrap” in his van. The next morning was hot and I felt all the beer I drank the night before but I pressed on and got the pictures I realized I missed the day before. After flipping through the disk waiting on the awards I realized I took all the picks one could take. And now for the awards club participation went to SUBCULTURE , best Graphics went to Tom Stewart, best car went to Donnie with the 95 accord, and best truck went to the 50’ model cameo. But the award that everybody waited for was the party trophy and it was gave to Xposed Visionz, again. Kevin and the guys from pleasures did a great job organizing this show and from the feedback I saw it was judged very well and very fair. Also I think that while your making out your 2001 show schedule this show better be on it cause its worth every bit of the drive.
