Being involved in the scene as long as Chris has, the need to have a clean engine bay was an obvious must. With the frame being smoothed and painted along with many of the suspension parts chromed the engine bay was already on the way to show winning appearance. Chris would not only rely on looks, but performance as well. For starters he would install a Delta cam along with Weber cards, Pacesetter header with a Super trap muffler.

Next Chris would install a Flex-a-lite electric fan with a custom shroud. A mini GM chrome alternator along with chrome pulleys and polished valve cover help bring more out of the engine bay. Chris would then build a custom intake for more air while a set of Taylor wires help the spark. The entire truck would also be rewired utilizing a painless wiring kit. Not yet complete Chris would polish the transmission; install a Center-force clutch and then shortened the driveshaft by 1” to finish things off.
