What can I say? This has got the most fun show I have been to yet! This was the first year for the show and I know everyone that I have talked to have all said that they will definitely be back. For a first time show the turnout was very good in my opinion. I was happy to see a lot of out of stat people making a show. I just can’t speak any greater of Justin and the rest of the Forever Low and Deviant Delusions clubs. They made the show what I think will become one of the best in the Midwest.Luke and I rolled in to the Missouri State Fair Grounds friday night at around 8ish. We were greeted by a lot of very friendly faces that were all ready for us to come and join the party. Since it was dark and there really wasn’t much point to checking out the other rides, we all just partied under the main tent. It was a great time catching up with friends and meeting new ones. About midnight or so one of our friends from up in St. Louis called us and said he was in the area but he had a small fire with his compressors power line. Now a few of the guys from Forever Low and Deviant Delusions heard us talking about it and were instantly trying to help us get our friend back on the road. These guys went out of their way to get whatever we needed to get him back on the road again. Talk about fellow minitrucker camaraderie! Saturday morning was a real damper for the first few hours as it was a nice steady rain to start the day. Gotta love that Missouri weather! Once the rain faded out around noon or so the show really started popping. These guys were making sure that no one was bored. There was everything from an on sight air brush artist to club tug of war battles, there were even a few guys out doing stunts for the crowd on mini-bikes! The rides were looking great and the ladies were right there looking just as fine. There were constant crowds flowing around all the cars and trucks, locals in awe over some of the trucks they have only seen in magazines. Everyone was going crazy over the bikini contest, a lot of hotties up there for sure. Shawn had is Plane Jane mazda out there drawing a lot of attention as usual, starting it periodically to let the fans hear that rumbling v-8 thunder through the custom side piping.

Later Saturday night after the sun went down started a nice lil drag session just outside of town. There were probably 30 trucks or more railing down the highway. People who were in the know were camped out in chairs on the side of the highway taking video and pics and just plain getting a great show. There is nothing quite like standing in the back of a Colorado with Pops driving trying to take pictures! Everything was all good till the return trip back, at this point Highway patrol and the local police had caught onto what we were doing and they were not too happy about it. A few people were pulled over and one guy actually got a ticket for “dragging vehicle throwing sparks while being filmed for video”! We definitely had some hardcore crazy sons of bitzes out there dragging the shit out their rides! One guy in a full-size drug straight thru his cross member. And I just about lost it when I saw the truck with the “Student Dragger” sign on the side of the doors. After this came the after party at the Endzone, a local sports bar that let us take over the whole parking lot for some crazy parting and a great wet t-shirt contest. We had a few new people initiated into the show scene, which is always a good time…..at least for us.Sunday was another great day, hot and humid like a New Orleans hooker but still good. It was a day filled with more picture taking, hanging with friends and having a great time. It was really sad to see it end. But I know that it will be a return event and I can tell everyone reading this right now, plan for it; it will be a show to remember!-Ryan Moffitt
