Oh what better excuse to go to the great city of Las Vegas. It was just a few months back that I took my wife to Vegas for her first experience; needless to say she was looking for a good reason to come back. I was telling her about a show that would be takin place there in June. So the next obvious step would be to find a babysitter so she could come with me. As we took the long ass haul to Vegas we began planning your numbers to play at roulette and which machines to go to for slots. As we arrive to our hotel at 2am, it was still 98 degree's and we had a sudden urge to walk down the strip and found ourselves at a roulette table till they kicked us off so the dealers could go home. So we headed back to our room so we could get some sleep and get prepared for the show.Since we were a day early we decided to go see some of the sites and introduce her so some friends that I haven't seen in quite some time. First stop would be to my buddy Adam's work where he was (as usual) sitting around doing nothing. He has been building custom beach cruisers with another friend Anthony ( http://www.twentysixinch.com so we checked some of that out which then turned to a conversation of Tattoo's. He was telling us about his Tattooest, Trae Hanson of www.pricz.com. After seeing his work we decided we'd be back to get some work done later in the weekend. With a long day complete and too much to drink it was time to hit the bed and get ready for the show. When we awoke the morning of the show the weather looked good so we dressed accordingly. After having a bit to eat we headed down to Ol' Vegas to check things out. As we walked around there was a lot of nice quality rides and even the crew from Silver Star Customs made the trek from back east to attend. Most of the show guys all met up and did a tour type drive up the night before which from what I hear was a pretty good grip of rides. Must have given the rednecks in the backcountry a heart attack when they saw all of the custom rides dragging through. With the show covered we walked over to Vender row to check out what was up then headed back down to Pricz Tattoo to get our ink work done. All in all it was a great weekend and the show had some good quality as well. I'm sure that I'll be attending this show in the future and would encourage those that are within' driving distance to do the same. Hell, even if the show isn't up to your expectations at least you have gambling to do!By Garrick Arends
