Chris Silvey lives deep in the heart of Jacksonville, Texas where he has been creating something different for all of us to see. He originally got his interest in the scene by starting young reading magazines. (Our guess is that his parents didn't know about the models in the bikini's.) Either way, Chris got a good idea that after having everything from a 73' Bug to a 94' Ranger that he still needed to have something that stood out from the rest. And with the magazine education in hand he set to work.

In 1996, Silvey turned his attention and his dreams loose on his Sunfire. Chris, with friends, began by shaving the door handles, emblems, and moldings. He also decided to shave the taillights and relocate them in the rear bumper for a custom effect.

He opted for a Ram Air hood and altered the scoops to help clear the bag mounts. Next, Chris turned to Pat Read at Mad Concepts in Houston, Texas, and had the car dipped in a bright yellow bath with blue, green and orange tribal graphics. Of course, it's the graphics inside those graphics that grab our attention.
