Visualizing the next project on a daily bases, Robert decided to approach the "suits" of Mitsubishi for their assistance. What he found was that the "suits" where more then impressed with his previous resume of customizing vehicles and left him with a year's lease on his brand new 2001 Spyder. From that day forward this Spyder would be a changed phobia. Getting started on the newfound Spyder would be a decision made up before the keys were even in hand. Having worked with Wings West on many occasions, Robert returned to the professional compounds of their office to inquire about one of there always clean body kits. Robert would leave with a kit that complemented every line of the Spyders body, which were strategically crafted by the design team of Mitsubishi.  | The smooth lines of the Wings West kit flows with the body lines nicely. |
Following the same clean lines of the Wings West body kit would be a Wings West custom grille along with a smooth and subtle wing.

  Following the install of the Spyders new body parts, it was time to drop the then silver car off at Car Prep of Fountain Valley, California. While in Car Prep's hands, the Spyder would receive a complete color change to a bright PPG Chrome Yellow, 15 coats to be precise. With the new smooth look, Robert decided to add a set of custom graphics and decals.  Seeming that this is what he does for a living, him and the rest of the Modern Image crew would make sure to apply a perfect design to fit their needs.
