Now that Dennis had the car he was happy with, it was time to get it on some rollers to grab some respect from the local enthusiasts. For this, Dennis turned to Jeff and Brian from Quality Tire of Woodbridge, VA. In their hands, the two from Quality Tire spent quality time attempting to find different wheel combinations until they finally came across the correct offset that would tuck into the fender wells. The rims that Dennis ended up with were Team Dynamics 17x7’s wrapped in 205/40’s. After hunting down the perfect rims, it was now time to bring the Saturn down to new heights. Finding after market parts for a Saturn is not easy. John from Saturn Performance Systems in Dayton, Ohio was a huge help in building this wagon.

It took a ton of phone calls, e-mails and shipments of different springs to get the correct suspension set up. What he ended up with was Carrera coilovers. The coilovers have a 300lb rating on each front corner and 275 in the rears. Now that the rims where tucking it was time to stiffin the Saturn up. With that, a SPS 3-way adjustable anti-sway bar was installed along with an SPS front strut brace. Since Dennis had some knowledge in fabricating, he decided to fabricate his own rear strut brace to stiffin up the rear. To help the stopping ability, KVR front brakes were utilized. Now knowing that he wanted to lean towards the performance side of the scene, Dennis started looking into building up the engine. Starting with the 1.9 liter engine, a set of vitek wires, hot shot header ceramic coated were installed and 2 5/8ths inch piping from the cat back along with a Borla muffler were added to smoothen out the sound. Now that the engine was open for breathing, Dennis found himself adding a Hotshot intake, and JG throttle body. To bring some eye candy to the engine, Dennis decided to polish the valve cover.
