The corner lamps were replaced with clear units and diamond cut headlights were put in place. A Blazer bumper was made to fit the rear end of Keith’s S-10 as well. Ron Dressler was appointed the task of installing a sliding ragtop in Keith’s roof. With the body looking more like what Keith was going for, the entire truck was two-toned using PPG red and silver.

Since the body was complete, Keith started the next phase of his S-10’s build-up. Getting the ride height exactly where he needed it was a must. Starting in the rear, Keith and his dad along with Gump performed a C-notch. The stock leaf springs were left in place and a set of Firestone airbags were installed along with Doetsch shocks to smooth everything out. In the front, 2” drop spindles were bolted on and airbags were put in place. Doetsch shocks keep the front smooth as well. Inside the cab you’ll find Keith’s custom controls for adjustability on the fly at any time.
