HELLO MINITRUCKERS!!!!! I bet you thought I was silenced 4-ever when "that other mag" closed down! No way!! I just took a month off. I'm back to spill my guts about minitrucks, people, shows, and everything in general. Hope you enjoy!! I had the privilege this month of attending one of the best truck events of the year.....Texas Heat Wave. I got to meet lots of new people, scope out some killer rides and sit back and WATCH what was going on around me (imagine that). I noticed some things that really bothered me. 1.) Most of the guys were alone. 2.) Most of the guys that were with girls didn't look very happy and 3.) There were only about 5 girls at the bikini contest. This is a big problem girls! Most of the guys were alone? Girls, where the hell were you? Your guy is attending a show and you are not there to help him clean? You were not there to see what he's going be talking about for at least two weeks. So, now you're just going to stand there looking stupid while he's going on with his buddies about the body dropped full-size, the totally shaved neon, and all the cool people he met? For goodness sake, take an interest in your guys’ lifestyle. It's not likely that he will change and, in reality, you don't really want him to, do you? Most of the guys that were with girls didn't look very happy? Maybe they were hot (big possibility), maybe they were bored (I seriously doubt it) or maybe they weren't having fun because you were griping about the heat, being hungry or being bored. I don't know, but I hope you weren't being a witch when all he was doing was trying to have a good time. If you're not into the scene by yourself, he's taking a chance by exposing you to his friends, the bikini contest and all the naked chics at night. Which brings me to my third observation.....

There were only about 5 girls at the bikini contest. Why is this? I heard comments like, "Go if you want, but you're not riding back with me." This is so ridiculous. You should have been up there pointing out the cottage cheese legs and making sure your guy knows that your tits are bigger, nicer, or more firm than her’s. Not only that, but who cares if he wants to watch a bikini contest? Aren't you glad he's attracted to girls? That's what I thought. Now ladies, I know all of you are not like this. I'm not trying to diss you or even piss you off. I'm not that kind of girl. I just want EVERYONE that goes to shows to have fun. There's no reason to feel inferior because your guy wants to hang with his buddies for a while or doesn't give you quite enough attention when you are at a show. As one guy I know says, "I don't want to baby-sit at a show!" He spends a lot of his time with you. BUT, you can't change his lifestyle. You have to become part of it!!! BrandiP.S.
