As we left our home on Friday afternoon, we were looking forward to one of the best one-day shows in the NW. Only one small mishap occurred on the drive in the pass! A license plate decided to fly off one truck and land on the hood of another in our caravan. The damage wasn’t too bad, but sure didn’t look very good for a show the next day. We jimmy-rigged his headlight in place and were on our way to Shawn’s house from Sittin Pretti. S.P. would be celebrating their 10th anniversary of what is known as Summer Slam.We were welcomed Friday night by a slew of S.P. members. For the first time we met Mike from Minitruckin and Jon from Sport Truck. We all drank, some more than others, and hung out for a while. Mostly watching Jon & Mike beating each other’s balls up. LOL! Then some of us headed for the sack to get some beauty sleep in anticipation for the show the next morning. We arrived at the show and were met by many of our friends from S.P., Magical Minis, Negative Behavior, Class Act and many others. We got the Accord all shined up for the judges then set out to take pictures of some badass rides. The vehicles kept rolling in and we knew it would be yet another successful S.P. show. The weather was optimal for show shots, so we got on it. They had many great giveaway items for their raffles and of course games to play, especially their infamous Butt Quarters. After all were given their much-deserved awards, everyone headed in their own directions. So a bunch of us headed for a little grub and drinks. After we chowed down on our food, we decided it was time to hit the nightlife in Everett. So we all went out to a Club/Pool Hall. The night was going great until some guy decided to mess with someone’s purse. Let me tell ya, I sure don’t want to get in the way of a bunch of drunk minitruckers. They kicked this guys ass, plus he got kicked out. Thanks for the memories guys! All in all the show was awesome plus getting to meet and get to know some new peeps is always a bonus.Till next time, keep em dragging!Tanya and JasonAKA - Visionsho and Kravits
