The doors would then be shaved leaving the door skins as smooth as the rest of the body. The bed would receive the same smooth feel and the tailgate welded shut to finish things off.

   With the body finished and ready for paint Paul would leave it up to the crew at Darrell’s once again. They would then spray down a PPG two-tone green and silver paint with a purple pinstripe to break things up.
