Starting with the suspension Lonnie new that if he was going to be cool he would have to bring this truck down closer to mother earth. Bringing this truck down consists of junking the factory suspension. Up front Lonnie and his dad installed 2 2500lb airbags in place of the factory coil spring and a set of KYB shocks to ease up the hard bumps.

Out back Lonnie and his dad chopped up the frame to install a step notch for maximum travel for the rear end. Attached to the rear end is a set of all tube hand made ladder bars along with a stainless machined steel pan hard bar.
To adjust the rears ride height they added a set of 2500lbs airbags and for extra cushion they added a set of KYB shocks. Now that the truck was down to a more respectable stance, Lonnie was still not satisfied. Lonnie wanted to go lower; in order to accomplish this Lonnie put the truck in the hands of Shaun Ornduff at Phat Rides in Tomball Texas. While at Phat Rides Shaun body dropped the Mazda 2 ¾ inches to lay the rockers properly on the ground.

With the truck in a presentable stance it was time to work on the body. Knowing how much Lonnie loves his truck he could only trust one man to fill the task of slicking out the shell of his Mazda, that man would be Jim Swarts of Pinehurst Texas. While in Jim's hands the Mazda was removed of all its factory labels, handles, antennae, gas door and body seams.
