Only being on the extreme East Coast for the 2nd time in a 3-week period would leave me to believe that there is phat rides to be found over the entire United States. After a long flight from Spudaho to Philly, Daniel Lee of Exclusive Styles, and now Northeastern photographer for SSM picked me up. Our journey would begin by heading deep into the wilderness of Philly heading to Dave and Busters for some brew and fun, with me attempting to get us into the ghettos for a peep of the dangerous surroundings. Avoiding the inner ghetto would lead us to food and fun. While there we would hunt down forward for the LA Lakers, number 5, Robert Horry and bug him for an autograph like all of you bug me at shows (yeah right). After all the excitement it was time to head home to get some shut eye for our journey to Carlisle in the morning. On our drive the next day we were unsuccessful on our attempts of hunting down the Amish farms but instead on the way had every Trucker blow their horn but 2. It was going to be a good weekend. We arrived in Carlisle and headed to the show to pick up our press passes and peep out the scene to see how had arrived early. Too much surprise there were quit a few people already out and about and the campsite was filling up fast. After finding the rest of ES it was time to head to the hotel to put our things up and get ready for the night festivities. Before going back to the show, Daniel needed to swing by Walmart for some much needed supplies. While there we were distracted from what was needed and spent what seemed like hours in the summer section. Many items where needed such as a 10x6 foot blow up swimming pool, arm floatties, goggles, snorkel, a toy shark and of course a beach ball for some swimming fun. Much more was bought along with the birth of a mascot but we'll get into that later. With the shopping complete the decision was to head back to the show for a few before getting some grub and of course getting our drink on. Once back to the hotel and after a few drinks the go-kart track was screaming our names. Only around the corner from our hotel, you would think it would be easy to get to, but not easy to find for us visitors. After asking a nice police officer how to get there (and Daniel placing stickers on the door), it was time to go rubbin', cause rubbin my friends is racing!

With tickets in hand, we wait patiently in line to gather every sprint car in the house for some fast fun. Once in and belted to the seat, we knew what was going to happen, but I think we were the only ones. With every corner came a t-bone. With every exiting of a corner came a head one collision. Whiplash here, whiplash there we managed to put all 6 sprint cars out of commission for the weekend. But before the race was over, we had a plan that when the buzzer sounded for racing to end we would all do a 180 and go the oppisote way. Needless to say that caused some confusion and dismay of those waiting to get a chance to race. As we turned back around to bring the carts in I noticed Justin from ES awaiting my tag. As I fly sideways around the corner I straighten out yelling at Justin to hold on….. Sorry about the neck Justin, hehe won't happen again! We didn't become too popular with the natives. But like we told them….. rubbin is racin'. And can you believe that some smart ass said that we weren't rubbin? The nerve of some people! With the night festivities wearing us down, it was time to get ready for the show. As Saturday arouse, I found myself walking endlessly down row after row of custom trucks. As I stated in my opening, the East Coast does have some badass rides to check out. After walking for what seemed 10 hours, it was time to get in the pool and kick it with Jack. For those of you that haven't met Jack, he is the pimp of all pimps. You can check out his diaries starting this issue. Bringing the west coast attitude to the driver byers seemed to be one of much entertainment as the crowd of people swarmed our area. Jack would give advice to those driving by and others would soon fallow. To say the least it had made the evening time move by with great furry.Continued------------->
