Anyone who attends shows knows that interior is a must if you want to win. Chris knew that and acted accordingly. Tommy at C&C Auto Upholstery was contacted to change Chris’s truck from stock to show. Tommy covered the dash, floor, seats, walls and shifter in toast tweed. Then, Shane Peacock was called in to cover the door panels and gauge pod in the same tweed. A Billet Specialties Indy steering wheel with burlwood wrap was bolted in along with a Momo wood-grain shifter. Chris also installed racing pedals with burlwood accents. Finishing it off, white face airbag gauges were installed. Under the hood, Chris continued his for show-look with an engine that’s so clean, you could eat breakfast off of it. Rodney at Memphis Plating Works was called upon to help Chris with the new task at hand. Anything and everything was chromed or polished including the radiator, valve cover, breather, heat shield, master cylinder, and hood hinges. Vitek wires were installed and lots of black wire loom helps clean up Chris’s engine. To help the engine breathe, 2 ½” stainless steel exhaust tubing was installed with a Borla muffler.

Of course, rolling stock makes or breaks any show vehicle. Chris chose Billet Specialties GT50 in the 18x7 variety along with Toyo Proxies 215-35-18 tires. Chris tells us that he built this truck to prove to a select few in his hometown of Memphis that he was definitely “in it to win it.
