Scott Doane started this build with $350 when he bought the truck from his cousin. It started multi-color and rusted just like most builds. Doane planned on this truck just being a hobby truck that soon took off to be a full blown show truck and was finally finished a year and a half later.

Doane’s C-10 was taken to Hills Hot Rods in Lubbock, Texas for Jason Hill to put his signature on it. Doane’s truck was outfitted with shaved door handles, custom tail lights, ‘91 Suburban grille insert, along with Suburban headlights, and a Suburban rear bumper. Hill painted the truck blue and silver with orange, red and blue pinstriping. He also added his one off water effect along with flames, shadows and chrome trim.
