Luke had always been into Mini Trucks. He had built a slew of body draggin minis and was just willing to prove a point to everyone out there that said "You can't make an Import Custom". Well we think Luke has done an outstanding job of breaking down the walls and preconceived notions that all Imports are not custom. Luke started with a bare to the bone 2000 Honda Civic with as few extras as he could find. Luke's theory was the more it has that's just that much more he would have to remove. So when he found his Honda in the spring of 2001 he was off to prove a point and dispel as many prejudices as possible. The first order of business was to strip the car down to the bare uni-body. The motor was pulled as to gain access to the firewall and provide more room to work on the custom aspect of the car. While the motor was out the firewall was treated to the same treatment the exterior would be receiving.

With the firewall cleaned of waste and the engine compartment as sanitary as a commode at Caesars Palace Luke decided the poor lil 1.6 Honda motor would not fit the bill, so a Honda B20 2.0 V-Tec motor swap was in order. Sandwiched between the motor and tranny a CenterForce II clutch was installed. With the motor now in place Luke removed several items to be either chrome plated or polished to a high luster. A DC Sport 4.1 header was then installed to expel spent gasses from the motor. For a better breathing treatment an AEM Cold Air intake was added.
