Oh what a weekend! If there is one word to describe Daytona Beach during Spring Break, it is "CRAZY". On Friday morning I started off by loading the car on the trailer and heading towards the most famous beach in the world; Daytona Beach. As I rolled in, I saw some sweet rides cruising the strip. Let me explain my self. All weekend long there is cruising on the beachfront strip. It's the place to be seen and be heard. Some of the baddest and loudest systems are kick'in all over place. There are no groceries in the trunk for some of these cars. So as I rolled onto the strip I changed the CD to music a Bass-Head would appreciate and kicked the volume up, and headed towards the Ocean Center. The winds were kick'in so many manufacturers could not set up their tents until Saturday. So with that we headed towards the hotel to get our drink on before the serious cruising starts. The strip at night is off the chain. It is packed with slammed rides and chicks showing their puppies. Oh yeah that's right, it's like Mardi Gras all over. The phrase for the weekend is of course "show me your tits". The nighttime cruising is not for the shy at heart. After awhile we started with the ritual of hotel hopping from one VIP party to another. Our fearless leader was Kevin from MA Audio. We went from room to room; hotel to hotel. Drinking at every stop. When we stopped at the Audio Bahn party, I had L.J. Garcia's favorite drink, Red Bull and Vodka. L.J. all I have to say about that is, DAMN! Why in the hell did I drink that? I guess it's an acquired taste. As it got later we decided to head to the hotel for shut-eye. The next morning I had to get up wicked early. Falken Tire wanted my car at the tent at 8am. I mean damn, I went to bed 4am. I got up at 7am. That means 3 hours on sleep. Why do I do this to myself?..lol After setting my car up, I saw badass tuners burning their way in. So I grabbed the cam and it was time to go to work. One cool thing about taking pics of cars is that you often meet the owners. I like meeting people that are into the same hobby and hearing their stories. After awhile of walking around outside in the hot sun I decided it was time to go into the AC.

The moment I walked into the Ocean Center my jaw dropped until the time I left. To start it off, at the entrance there was a badass Acura RSX. The fiberglass work was out of this world. The dash kicked ass. That car was tight work. As I walked around the corner I spotted my boy's, Tom's, blazer in the MA Audio booth. I kept walking around until I saw two godly V.W.'s. These two cars were fully modified. From flawless bodywork to killer sound systems. Even though the cars stopped my heartbeat I had to continue. The indoors section of the stereo show was simply awesome due to all the new products from the manufactures. After a day full of drooling it was time to head back to the Adam's Mark hotel to chill with the boys and do the nightly ritual all over again. Sunday was a lot more relaxing and it was time to get over the hang over from the night before. Or was it that mystery pizza that we ate the night before that made me sick? Either way, after walking the strip and also chilling at the beach, I jumped into Jay from Relaxed Atmosphere's Tahoe. We tried to pimp it out but it was hard with the windows rolled down only a quarter of the way. Sweet ride man….lol Then it was time to pack up and head home. I live about 45 minutes from Daytona, but on this Sunday it only took me about 2 hours and a half. Thanks. Daytona Beach Spring Break Nationals Sound Off competition and the Surf "n Turf tuner Jam is definitely a show not to miss. Mark it on your calendars and make plans to be there.
