With the dually already at their shop, KUSTOMWERKS performed the necessary prep work to get Nelson's dually in shape before being dropped off to the painter. The first order of business was to shave and smooth the dually from front to rear. The taillights were shaved and a Sir Michael's roll pan installed, complete with Supra taillights. The tailgate handle was also shaved and smoothed.

The new mods gave Nelson's dually a new look, but KUSTOMWERKS was not quite finished. Next, they shaved the door handles and the antenna and installed a Precision bumper and phantom grille shell. The factory hood was removed and a steel cowl induction hood now resides in its location. To allow the hot Tennessee sunshine into the cab, KUSTOMWERKS installed a massive 40"x55" Street Beat sliding ragtop. The body mods were complete and the truck was prepped and ready for paint.
