There is a racecar quick connect switch mounted in the rear driver side interior panel to allow easy access incase of an accident. Chad mounted all of the suspension system in the hatch right against the back seat. By doing this, it allowed a ton of room left for the stereo system he had planned.

Once the suspension was done and he had the car rolling and draggin, yes I said dragging, he started on the custom stereo enclosure. But before he did that, there was a set of titanium drag blocks mounted under the front end. This provides tons of nighttime, and even daytime spark shows. You wouldn’t think an import car could pull up beside you on the interstate and spark on you, but Chad has been known to do it from time to time. Ok, back to the stereo, I kinda got sidetracked there.

Chad wanted his sounds to not only sound good, but the install had to be something custom too. For this custom install, Chad chose the help of Jimmy Oliver over at Traffic Jams in Bristol, TN. To run the system, Chad chose a Clarion head unit with matching EQ mounted under it.

He also added an Audio Control Epicenter for better bass response. One of the trick features of the install is that the control for the Epicenter is the factory cigarette lighter. From the main controls, the signal is fed to two Orion amps, a HCCA 2100 and a HCCA 225.
