When it comes to shows close to Boise Idaho there are very few that are actually worth the short drive. I decided to pack the camera's and head to Ontario, Oregon located about 40 minutes west of Boise to see if there was anything new and exciting in the valley. We found ourselves pulling into the K-Mart parking lot only to find a decent turn-out to much of my surprise. In attendance you found members of Severed Ties, Lowered Illusions and IV Everlow among other clubs representing with decent numbers.After walking around for the first hour or so and just talking to people we hadn't seen in ages, it was time to start paying attention to the rides. Entertainment on the main stage cleared out everyone from the rides, which gave me the opportunity to finally start snapping photo's. There were a few new body drops in attendance along with some killer compacts.Although this wasn't anything comparable to the big shows in California or on the East Coast, the numbers from show to show locally are getting bigger year in and year out. I'm sure it will only be a short time before everything we see here is dragging body or running 12 second ΒΌ mile's.By: Kris Bloom
