The truck is a 1997 Ford Ranger Step Side standard cab. About four years ago he decided to tear it apart to build to the level you see here. After stripping the body off the frame Lil' Bubba with the help of the guys at Str8twizted Customs in Kannapolis, NC decided to do a 3.5" body drop. While the frame was just lying in the shop, they decided to do a full custom rear frame clip using 2x3 square steel.   After building the C-Notch they decided to add a custom flamed bridge,

then paint the notch to match the truck as well as the drive shaft and rear axle. The rear paintwork was all performed by Denny. They also added a chrome Hack Shack 4-link to stabilize the rear end. Brackets were also welded to the rear clip to hold the air tank, compressors, ½ Parker valves and the red top Optima battery under the bed. A 15-gallon polished aluminum fuel tank was also added to the rear clip. To add lift to the rear a pair of 2600lb Firestone Airbags were bolted in along with a set of Pete and Jakes chrome shocks.
