What more could one ask for than an import car show and drag race all in one event? No one, so I loaded up my camera and headed over to the Moroso Motorsports Park to check out the import drags and car show April 5th and 6th. A quick trip to the main office to pick up a press-pass and I was on my way for a day of excitement. After finally getting into the park, I quickly noticed that the car show portion of the event was already packed. There were domestic and import compact cars lined up throughout the park, displaying their latest mods and gadgets. Right away I noticed two of the hottest cars that were in attendance just so happen to belong to girls. Gotta love a phat ride and a hot girl! After a quick stroll through the show area, I headed over to the track to see the import drags. Right away I noticed all of the top dogs in the import drag race series on hand, as time trials were ending and first round eliminations were set to begin. There's nothing like warm Florida sun, the smell of racing fuel and billows of tire smoke from a long burnout. Ahhh, this was living! A few quick pics of the races and I went back over to the show side to catch up with a few people before heading home. If you're into the import and import drags, make sure you check out the NHRA's import drag racing series and car show. It's well worth the trip.
