Dustoff
April just happened to be the busiest month of my life. Little did I know that between juggling the perils of being a new home owner, meeting deadlines for home repairs so our cheap ass insurance company wouldn't drop us, or maybe the big one - GETTING MARRIED, did I think we (Kevin and me) would ever come out of it all in time to get our honeymoon laundry done, the grass mowed, and shake the winter coat off the wagon in time to make it to the Dust Off show. But as those who show anything know, a couple of all nighters can remedy just about any problem. Well, that and a lot of southern engineering. However, we pulled it off, tired, and looking at each other as if we didn't know what we had gotten ourselves into, managed to roll in (just a little late) to the 5th Annual Dust Off show.
Dust Off is the kind of show that everyone around talks about all winter long. It's the kind of show that gets the gears turning and the engines running again, because it's one of hell of a show. This show has doubled in the past five years. Whether it's the fact that everyone figured out that the inmates in the state prison next door really couldn't get out or the pond is really our friend when we all need to create a little excitement for the local Seagoville police the world may never know. I personally think it's the fact that when you roll in to a show like this it's because this is where all the under construction winter vehicles are finally exposed, this is the first chance of the year to put your balls on the table. Everything from Pop's hot rod, to the laid out trucks, to the fully built imports, or perhaps the reckless driving 4 X 4's, there is something for everyone.
Xposed Visionz has been building this show from a dream of having something people would come back to. And in the small percentage of people who can satisfy that must-attend craving, they have filled it all the way to the brim (with as little head) for all of us. Each show surpasses the last and each show is consistently more enjoyable for those, competitors or spectators, to be a part of. Hosting with sponsors like Kaik Products, Killer Ridez, Speedtek, and Stretchgear clothing, Xposed Visionz rolls all the ingredients of what a show no matter how new or old to the scene requires to keep our attention. This show is becoming what every show hosts desires the most - a traditional year event. For more details about these guys, check out their website at www.xposedvisionz.com.
