The little green machine
The first thing that Steven decided to do was reworking the suspension and to lay his truck out, true sport truck style.

To help accomplish this, Steven contacted Rob Rodell and Underground Customs in Spring, Texas. Rob went straight to work laying out the S10 to the below sea level of lowness that Steven desired. First, in the front, Bell Tech 2" drop spindles were installed in conjunction with Firestone airbags to lay things out nice and flat. In the rear, Rob first went to work building a huge custom C-Notch, allowing Steven's S10 more travel room.

Rob decided to ditch the factory leaf spring, and in their place, installed a Pete and Jakes triangulated 4-link. For adjustability purposes, Firestone 2600lb airbags were custom fit in the rear of Steven's S10. Smoothing out the bumps, Rob installed mounts to allow Steven's S10 to utilize Pro Comp shocks at all four corners. After Rob was finished reworking the suspension, Steven dropped his truck off at Vicksburg Body in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where the entire frame was painted.

Since the truck was already at Vicksburg Body, Steven decided to go ahead and get started on the exterior modifications to his S10. Beginning in the front, a bumper and valance combo from a 2000 Chevy S10 was installed to give Steven's S10 an updated look. The fenders were also notched, allowing more turning radius and travel.
