Moving towards the rear of the Caprice, the antenna, door handles and key locks where all shaved. Looking past the four doors, you will notice that the gas filler door was shaved and then the filler next was re-located behind the rear license plate. With almost everything else touched on the Caprice, the rear needed some work to match. Shaving the rear moldings along with the keyhole and emblems at the rear would help bring things together. Giving that extra clean look, Jeremy decided to add a set of clear tail lights as well.

Before painting his Caprice, Jeremy decided that there was one more thing needing attention. Curing his hunger for sun, the installation of a 40x40 Britax sliding ragtop would allow the sun to shine bright throughout the interior of the Caprice. Central Paint and Body of Phoenix was responsible for all of the exterior modifications. Now truly ready for paint, Jeremy hauled the Caprice to Elite Collision of Tempe, Arizona to have Jimmy throw down his expertise. Utilizing the 2001 VW Bug sonic green paint, "The Grinch" was coming true to form.
