When it comes to shows close to Boise Idaho there are very few that are actually worth the short drive. Well after a night of nothing short of exciting, Kris and I decided to pack the camera's and head to Ontario Oregon located about 40 minutes west of Boise to see if there was anything new and exciting in the valley. After finally finding a CD we could deal with on our short journey, we found ourselves pulling into the K-Mart parking lot only to find a decent turn-out to much of my surprise. Even in attendance you found members of Severed Ties, Relaxed Atmosphere and IV Everlow among other clubs representing with decent numbers. After walking around for the first hour or so and just talking to people we hadn't seen in ages, it was time to start paying attention to the rides. Entertainment on the main stage cleared out everyone from the rides, which gave me the opportunity to finally start snapping photo's. There were a few new body drops in attendance along with some killer compacts. Although this wasn't anything comparable to the big shows in California or on the East Coast, the numbers from show to show locally are getting bigger year in and year out. I'm sure it will only be a short time before everything we see here is dragging body or running 12 second ΒΌ mile's. I'd also like to congratulate Tony from Severed Ties on Best of show.
