About a week ago, I received a gift from a friend I haven't seen in a while. With some excitement, I quickly opened the package to find that he had taken a piece of plexi glass, cut my club's logo out of it, and added some vinyl to it for some color. After a few minutes of checking out my new gift, I proceeded to call my friend to express my gratitude, and how he didn't have to do it. To make a long story short, it's nice to know that there are people out there that still do things for their friends without expecting something in return. Thanks Mark. Unlike most of you, Brandi and I haven't been able to make it to any shows yet this year. With this being said I can't really give you any funny truck show stories, but I can share with you the things that have been happening in my life as of late. One being the joy I've found watching my son play baseball this season. So far their team has won their first two games. I never would have thought watching 5 and 6 year olds play baseball could be so funny. There are some people who take sports even on this level way over board. One of the coaches from another team has already been suspended for a couple of games due to cursing an umpire. Brandi and I have also started packing for our long awaited move from Georgia to Texas that hopefully will be a reality by the end of June. It seems like every time the past year we thought we might have things tied up here so we could move something happened. I guess life wouldn't be as adventurous without the unexpected stuff though.

The other thing that has been a constant in my life the past year and a half is people always asking me "When are you going to paint your truck?" or "What color are you going to paint it?". These questions aren't so bad the first couple of times you hear them, but when the same people keep on asking it makes you want to say "I guess when you give me the money for it." Over the past year or so I hadn't really thought about it since I couldn't really do anything to it anyway being out of work, and only having it for our only means of getting around. The other day though I went to see my lawyer for some stuff, and before I left he asked me when I was going to paint my truck. I reckon that's when you know you've been in primer to long. Nonetheless Brandi, and I have the plans for the Nissan in the works, and it should be done by the end of summer. I hope to see all of you this summer, and maybe even have my finished Nissan to show some. Till next month stay low, be kind to your friends, and fornicate with protection. Later all Russell ST
