The show day is over, and I’m looking for Troy to talk to him about featuring his ride in the magazine. As I’m walking back into the show I see him and his wife Misty driving out so I stop them to talk to them about it. I remember thinking as we were talking, “Wow, I can see Misty through his ear lob!”. Well, that, and I remember thinking about his last couple rides that have been featured in such magazines as the ’94 issue of Minitruckin’ (’89 Mazda) and the ’95 issue of Truckin’ (’85 Chevy S-10 blazer). Knowing that he’s no rookie to the sport, I knew this would be a perfect layout for our magazine. After all, building rides is in his blood! The first vehicle that he showed was a 69 Cadillac when he was 16!
