Getting a feel for mother earth, Matt would depend on the skills of Eric Eaton of Winter Farden, FL for his suspension expertise. While in Eric's hands many items would be junked and custom applications built. For starters the frame section under the cab would be fitted with a 2-inch box frame to allow the 3-½ inch stock floor body drop.

The rear end would then be shortened 8-inches for the 22x10 Bonspeed Crokus to fit in the fender wells in the rear while the front would be set up with a set of custom upper and lower control arms
to allow the 20x8.5 Bonspeed wheels to tuck up front. Not yet complete, Eric would then set up a custom fabricated 4-link along with installing a 12-gallon aluminum fuel cell located in the bed.

With the suspension drop complete it was not time to tackle the exterior modifications. For starters the inner fenders front and rear would be smoothed out for that custom appeal. The rear bumper would then be removed and a molded in roll pan would take its place.
