First thing to do to get this project rolling was to completely strip the Neon down and prepare it for the drastic change it was about to go through. Being one of the easiest mods was the hood; it was the first thing to be attacked. A metal cowl was grafted into it and smoothed out. The emblems and door handles were shaved to start out the bodywork. Next the front fenders and rear quarters were sanded down and prepped to have the full custom, hand built, 3 inch all metal wide body panels welded on.

Now most cars out there that are wide bodies are grafted in with fiberglass panels, but not this car. Brandon and his dad Kelly took several long hours to mold all these metal panels in for the perfect flow of the bodylines. The rocker panels were also widened 3 inches to match the other wide panels before the Xenon side skirts were added. Once all of these areas were done, they were painstakingly molded into the doorjambs. The Xenon front and rear bumpers were widened 2 inches to keep the body lines aligned with each other.
